Real love isn’t about fixing each other—it’s about becoming more ourselves, together.

Marriage / Couples INTENSIVES

Focused Support For Couples Who Want More Than Weekly Therapy

Marriage intensives offer a dedicated space to slow down, understand what’s really happening in your relationship, and begin meaningful repair. Instead of spreading this work out over months, intensives allow you to work deeply and intentionally over one to three days—with guidance, structure, and emotional safety.

Below are the three intensive options we offer.

INTENSIVE OPTIONS

Focused Reset Intensive

6 Hours | One Day

This option is designed for couples who feel stuck, disconnected, or caught in the same arguments—but who are not in an immediate crisis.

This intensive helps you:

  • Identify the repeating patterns that keep you stuck
  • Understand how each of you responds to conflict and stress
  • Reduce escalation, shutdown, and miscommunication
  • Learn tools for repair and emotional regulation
  • Leave with greater clarity, hope, and direction

What this option includes:

  • A clear map of your relationship patterns
  • Guided conversations to interrupt unhelpful cycles
  • Therapist-led reflection to help both partners feel understood
  • Practical tools you can begin using immediately

This option focuses on present-day relationship patterns and does not include individual childhood or developmental mapping.

Deep Repair Intensive (Most Popular)

10–12 Hours | 1.5–2 Days

This is our most comprehensive and transformative offering. It’s ideal for couples experiencing ongoing conflict, emotional distance, trust injuries, or who feel close to giving up—but want to understand what’s really going on before making decisions.

This intensive helps you:

  • Understand how early life experiences shaped the ways you each relate today
  • Make sense of emotional reactions that feel confusing or overwhelming
  • Reduce blame and defensiveness by increasing compassion
  • Experience deeper emotional safety and connection
  • Begin repairing attachment wounds, not just managing conflict

What this option includes:

  • A full map of your relationship’s conflict cycle
  • Individual sessions (one for each partner) to explore how early experiences influence current patterns
  • Therapist-led reflection that connects past experiences to present dynamics
  • Guided partner-to-partner conversations for shared understanding and repair
  • Support in practicing new ways of responding to each other

This work is contained, structured, and emotionally supported—focused on understanding, not reliving the past.

Discernment & Crisis Intensive

15–18 Hours | 2.5–3 Days

This option is for couples at a crossroads—when separation or divorce is being considered, or when the relationship feels fragile and uncertain.

This intensive helps you:

  • Slow down reactive decision-making
  • Understand the deeper reasons you’ve arrived at this point
  • Explore whether repair is possible in a grounded, supported way
  • Gain clarity and peace about next steps—together or apart

What this option includes:

  • Extended individual and joint sessions
  • Deeper exploration of relational and developmental patterns
  • Strong pacing and emotional containment
  • Support for grief, fear, and ambivalence
  • Guidance toward clarity rather than pressure

This process is not about convincing you to stay or leave—it’s about helping you make honest, grounded decisions with integrity and care.

A Few Important Notes

  • Both partners must agree to participate
  • Intensives are not appropriate when there is active abuse or untreated addiction
  • Follow-up sessions are recommended to support integration
  • Payment and scheduling are arranged in advance

Is an Intensive Right for Us?

Marriage intensives are best suited for couples who want depth, honesty, and meaningful change—not quick fixes. If you’re unsure which option is right for you, we’ll help you decide during a brief consultation.
